Open Positions:

Administrative Assistant

Job Details:

  • Provide administrative support to Optometrists such as: answering emails, composing letters, sending reports to guardians, submitting basic insurance claims

  • Both in-person & work-from-home duties

  • Assisting with preliminary testing & patient flow 

  • English to Spanish translation on-site at schools and long-term care communities

  • Contacting guardians & family members to relay exam findings

  • Remote work including scribing for providers​​

Pay:  $20-$26 per hour

Job Type: Part time

Shift & Schedule: Flexible

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Reliable transportation

  • Current influenza vaccine or N95 mask

  • Background check

Ocular Hygienist 

Job Details:

  • Provide in-person services to patients living in long-term care communities and patient homes

  • Reviews appointment schedule to determine patient visits order; communicates with patients and guardians by telephone and in person

  • Performs diagnostic testing which may include: visual fields, retinal imaging, ERGs, tonometry and manifest refraction

  • Performs procedures related to demodex blepharitis

  • Closely communicates with supervising providers and administers telehealth visits between patients and providers. 

  • Both in-person & work-from-home duties

  • Contacting guardians & family members to relay exam findings​​

Pay: $25-28 per hour

Bonus Pay: Available based on production

Job Type: Part time

Shift & Schedule: Flexible
